The Reate Knives PL-6 is an excellent pocket knife with fantastic functionality. It utilizes a pivot button lock which you can think of similarly to a traditional button lock. For this knife, you pinch your fingers on the knife with your thumb over the pivot, releasing the blade. Because of the mechanism, the handle has to be a little bit thicker than you might expect, but the blade deployment is smooth, and the handle is surprisingly comfortable, which leaves you with a fan very functional knife.
